A Tribute
This concert is in tribute to Maestro Paul John Stanbery, who served as Music Director and Conductor of the Butler Philharmonic Orchestra (previously the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra for 24 years from 1995-2019. Maestro Stanbery was influential, not only in the development of the orchestra, but in the forming of the Butler Philharmonic Chorus and the Butler Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. A driving force in the musical arts in Butler County and beyond, it is altogether fitting that all three ensembles collaborate tonight to pay honor to his legacy as a singer, conductor, and composer. Maestro Stanbery's impact on the citizens of Butler County will be felt for generations to come, as the area continues to be a bastion of the arts in America.
